Morgan McKenzie began their work experience in 2011 as a Catering employee at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que. In 2012, they joined ACME Bar & Pizza as a Cocktail Waitress, where they provided excellent customer service and had a vast knowledge of cocktails and craft beer. Also in 2012, they started working at Foodlink as an Agency Services Associate, maintaining customer relations and identifying products for program needs. In 2013, they were promoted to Agency Services Senior Associate, acting as the main contact person for specific customers and agencies. In 2013, they transitioned to the role of Food Bank Programs Coordinator at Foodlink, managing food bank programs and working on process improvements. In 2016, they became the Member Services Manager at Foodlink, and in 2019, they were promoted to the role of Director of Operations.

Morgan McKenzie's education history began in 2004 when they attended Sandy Creek Central High School. They completed their Advanced Regents Diploma in an unspecified field of study in 2007. Following this, McKenzie attended the State University of New York College at Potsdam from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology. Finally, McKenzie pursued further education at SUNY Brockport from 2015 to 2017, obtaining a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a specialization in Public Management.
