Leo Qiu

Leo Qiu has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Leo is the Co-Founder of Foodnome, an online marketplace for home restaurants where they are responsible for operations, strategy, and managing the development team. Leo has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Ardan Labs and as a Lead Software Engineer at the University of California, Davis, where they contributed to the development of an interactive website for environmental water management decision-making. As an Instructor and Assistant Instructor at Trilogy Education, Leo taught full-stack web development to a group of 50 students and assisted in the web developer bootcamp. Leo also gained experience as a Web Developer Intern at FullStack Labs, where they worked on full-stack application development. Before that, Leo was an Application Engineer at Electro Scientific Industries, Inc., where they developed machine vision solutions and wrote algorithms using Python. Leo began their career as a Parts Engineering Intern at SSL, where they conducted parts testing and analysis. Leo Qiu earned a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, where they studied from 2012 to 2014. In addition, Leo obtained a Private Pilot certification from the FAA in October 2016.
