Alejandro Navas

Alejandro Navas has extensive work experience in the software development field. Alejandro is currently working as a Software Architect at Foodology Inc since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Twilio Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer from 2020 to 2021, where they automated infrastructure and networking tasks and implemented distributed infrastructure operations for improved reliability.

Before Twilio, Alejandro was a Software Architect at Kiwibot in 2019, where they improved the scalability, reliability, and maintainability of the company's software and collaborated with the development team to enhance the robot's communication protocols.

From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at NewMotion, where they created a scalable service for EV charging points and collaborated with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Alejandro also worked as a Fullstack Developer at Lunatech Labs in 2017-2018, where they collaborated with clients on real-time processing solutions and assisted with identity management and security for a Dutch bank.

Prior to that, they were a Software Architect at Undertrail/GDX Travel from 2015 to 2017, where they revamped the backend infrastructure and led various projects. In 2014-2015, Alejandro founded and operated Kiido SAS as a CTO, gaining experience in fullstack development and leadership.

Alejandro started their career as a Full Stack Developer at Innerconsulting in 2012-2013, working on projects for Caja de Seguro Social de Panama. Prior to that, they were a Full Stack Developer at Heinsohn Software House in 2011, gaining experience in JSF and project management.

Alejandro Navas completed their education in a chronological manner. From the years 2000 to 2006, they attended Escuela Tecnológica Instituto Técnico Central where they earned their high school diploma in Computer Engineering. Following this, Alejandro enrolled at Universidad de Los Andes from 2007 to 2010, where they pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Computer Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Alejandro also obtained a certification in 2016 for completing the course "Creative Writing: The Craft of Plot" offered by Coursera.
