Anson Chin has a diverse background in various roles and industries. Anson started their career as an International Volunteer with the Missionaries of Charity in Cambodia in 2012. After that, they worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the National Taiwan University from 2014 to 2015. Anson also worked as a Professional Lecturer at Chateau Continuation School during the same period. In 2015, Anson joined SunFun Info Co., Ltd. as a Digital Marketing Agent. Anson later became the Marketing Director for Aimcue, a live commerce startup, in 2016. Anson then worked as a Consulting Intern at KPMG Taiwan from April 2016 to June 2016. In 2017, they joined The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as an Associate, where they stayed until 2019. Anson then joined 17LIVE in 2019 as a Project Director and Director of Revenue Channel Management. Currently, Anson is the Operations Director at foodpanda, a position they have held since 2021. Anson also served as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of foodpanda from March 2023 to June 2023.
Anson Chin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from National Taiwan University in 2014. Later, in 2017, they obtained a Master's degree from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business. In 2015, they also obtained a certification in Google AdWords from Google.
