Amit Haas Shitrit

Amit Haas Shitrit currently serves as an International Tax Manager and previously held the position of International Tax Senior Associate at PwC Israel since September 2021, focusing on global tax strategy, cross-border investments, and financing solutions. Additionally, Amit is a co-founder and Head of Legal & Finance at FoodTech Nation, and has experience as a Teaching Assistant in Financial Statements Analysis at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Amit's background includes serving as Deputy Commissioner Assistant at the Israel Capital Market Insurance & Savings Authority, where responsibilities included establishing a new division and overseeing IFRS 17 implementation. Prior experience includes an Assistant Economist role at the Bank of Israel and project management in the Israel Defense Forces. Amit holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Laws and Accounting from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and is currently pursuing an MBA in Strategy & Business Development at Reichman University.
