FAI Girls’ Centre Of Excellence Goalkeeper Coach at Football Association of Ireland

Mark Clohessy currently serves as the FAI Girls’ Centre of Excellence Goalkeeper Coach at the Football Association of Ireland, where responsibilities include developing goalkeepers' technical, tactical, and physical skills through age-appropriate coaching sessions. Concurrently, Mark holds the position of Director of Football with the Dublin and District Schoolboys'/Girls' League, focusing on player development and implementing the Elite Talent Programme, which has seen 11 players reach the Ireland U15 squad. Previous coaching experience includes a role as Goalkeeper Coach at Drogheda United FC, and extensive leadership in the mechanical industry, holding various supervisory and managerial positions since 1994. Mark's educational background includes degrees in Plumbing Technology and Mechanical Engineering from Bolton Street, and a Leaving Certificate from Moyle Park College.
