Andy Rowlands has a diverse work experience ranging from being an Infantry Officer in the British Army to holding various leadership positions in companies such as Amazon and E3 Recycling Ltd. Prior to their current role as the Chief Operating Officer at the Football Association of Wales, they served as the Chairman of Snowsport Cymru Wales and worked as a Managing Director at Cranc Cyclesport Ltd. Andy also has experience as a School Teacher at Carmarthenshire County Council and as an Executive Board Member at Llandovery College.
Andy Rowlands completed a BEd (Hons) in Physical Education at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David from 1996 to 1999. Andy then pursued Military Leadership at The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 2000. In 2010, they attended the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom for Intermediate Command & Staff College (Land) before completing a Level 7 Diploma in Leadership and Management at ILM in 2018.
