Participation Officer at Football Association of Wales

Jamie Griffin is a skilled football coach and coordinator with extensive experience in youth development and goalkeeper training. Currently serving as the National Participation Officer at the Football Association of Wales since September 2019, Jamie has successfully managed multiple football initiatives, including a fun football programme benefiting over 7,000 children. In addition to this role, Jamie is the Head Goalkeeper Coach for Barry Town United AFC, contributing to the Welsh Women's Premier League, and coaches at Cardiff University’s Boys' Development Centre. Jamie's coaching journey began in 2010 at Longwell Green Sports JFC, providing instruction to a diverse range of youth players. Jamie's educational background includes a Master's in Advanced Football Coaching and a Bachelor's degree in Football Coaching & Performance from the University of South Wales.
