Ishmael Tarikh

Ishmael Tarikh is an experienced educator and consultant with a strong background in academia and law. Currently serving as an instructor at De Anza College since March 2006 and the owner of Tarikh Consulting Services since January 2003, Ishmael has held various lecturer positions at prestigious institutions such as San Jose State University, the University of California, Santa Cruz, and Chico State University, specializing in Black Studies and Political Science. Ishmael holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, an M.A. in Afro American Studies, and a B.A. in Political Science, both from UCLA.
