Stephanie Dickson

Stephanie Dickson has extensive experience in physics education and research. Since January 1994, Stephanie has been a Physics Teacher at De Anza College, instructing a wide range of physics courses and developing innovative lab experiments in mechanics, optics, and thermodynamics. Prior to this role, Stephanie worked as a Research and Development Engineer at Read-Rite Corporation from July 1991 to September 1994, engaging in the development and testing of magneto-resistive thin film heads, with proficiency in techniques such as RF sputtering and photolithography. Furthermore, from January 1986 to January 1991, Stephanie served as a Research Assistant at the San Francisco State Quark Group, focusing on automated data collection for the Millikan Oil drop experiment and contributing to significant experiments at Brookhaven National Laboratory. Stephanie holds a Master of Science in Physics and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics, both from San Francisco State University.
