Luis Madrid

Luis Madrid is an experienced technology professional and entrepreneur with a strong background in software development and web design. Currently an official member of the Forbes Technology Council, Luis founded the GDS Band and GDS Music, a non-profit organization aimed at empowering faith through music across the Americas, in 2014. As the owner and founder of DC Nearshore, Luis specializes in helping North American tech companies outsource software development teams to Central and Latin America. Previous roles include senior web developer positions at companies such as Ellie Mae and MortgageCEO, where Luis led development teams and contributed to significant projects. Luis holds an Engineer's Degree in Computer Science and a specialization in Business Intelligence from Universidad Tecnológica de El Salvador, alongside an Associate's Degree in Computer Systems and Networking from ITCA.
