Narjes Boufaden

Narjes Boufaden is the Founder and CEO of Keatext since September 2010 and an Official Member of the Forbes Technology Council, contributing expertise in technology since May 2018. Boufaden serves as an AI advisor for the Natural Resources and Forests Department of the Quebec government, offering guidance on AI projects related to information management. Additionally, Boufaden was a mentor at Techstars MTL AI, supporting early-stage startups from August 2018 to January 2023. Previous roles include Adjunct Professor at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) and Scientist at the Centre de Recherche informatique de Montréal, specializing in natural language processing and knowledge engineering. Boufaden's academic background includes a Ph.D. in computational linguistics from Université de Montréal and a Maitrise in linguistic computing from Université Laval.
