Marc-Olivier Turgeon

Marc-Olivier is an Analyst in the Naarden office and joined Forbion in January 2021.

Prior to joining Forbion, Marc completed his CRUK-funded PhD in Oncology at The Institute of Cancer Research in London. His work focused on investigating metabolic changes occurring in breast cancer cells and led to high impact publications in journals such as Nature and Nature Comms.

In parallel, Marc was involved in organizing an early-stage Life Sciences entrepreneurship program where he interacted with scientific founders and supported the translation of scientific ideas into successful ventures.

Previously, he studied neuroendocrine thyroid hormone regulation disorders as part of his MSc at McGill University in Montreal, where he also completed his BSc in Molecular Biology with distinction.
