Xiao Yu

Xiao Yu has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. They started their career as a Digital Marketing & Media Intern at Flowers for the Fallen in 2013, where they developed a business plan, coordinated social media marketing, and contributed to increasing donations. They then interned as a Marketing and Public Relations Intern for Habitat for Humanity International, assisting with fundraising projects and organizing events. After that, Xiao Yu worked as a Sales Account Manager at 3S Enterprises, Inc., where they built marketing and sales plans for Verizon FiOS and led product presentations. They also gained experience as a Sales Associate at TUMI, consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas. Xiao Yu then joined Wells Fargo as a Licensed Banker, where they provided retail banking services, delivered financial and trust services to clients, and exceeded loan volume goals. They furthered their career at Citigold as a Relationship Manager, managing financial relationships with affluent clients and utilizing a team-based approach to provide holistic solutions. Most recently, Xiao Yu joined Forbright Bank as an Assistant Vice President.

Xiao Yu completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from ECPI University in the years 2010 to 2014. They attended James River High School from 2001 to 2005. In 2017, Xiao Yu participated in The George Washington University's Data Analytics Boot Camp. From 2020 to 2022, they pursued a Mechanical Engineer degree at Montgomery College, but the field of study is unspecified. Additionally, Xiao Yu obtained various certifications, including Series 7 from FINRA in July 2019, Series 65 from FINRA in March 2017, Maryland Life Insurance in January 2017, Series 6 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in January 2017, Series 63 from FINRA in January 2017, Public Notary from the State of Maryland in June 2015, and S.A.F.E. registration from The Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) (obtained month and year unspecified).
