Lisa Schniebolk Peabody is an experienced advocacy professional currently serving as the Advocacy Manager at FORCE: Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered since June 2022, focusing on grassroots efforts for genetic counseling and preventive care for hereditary cancer. Prior experience includes a role at the National Brain Tumor Society as Senior Community & Government Relations Associate, where responsibilities included managing over 15,000 volunteer advocates and training them on public policy. Other significant roles include Government Relations Associate at the same organization, Volunteer Pediatric Cancer Advocate, Communications Manager at Amadeus Concerts, and Music Teacher within Montgomery County Public Schools. Lisa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education with a Minor in Mathematics from the University of Maryland and a Masters Equivalent in Elementary Education recognized by the Board of Education from Trinity Washington University.
