Shelley Luedtke is a dedicated healthcare professional with extensive experience in nursing and community support. Currently serving as a Volunteer Peer Navigator for FORCE: Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered since April 2017, Shelley provides guidance to individuals dealing with genetic cancer mutations related to breast and ovarian cancer. With a career at SSM Health that began in 1999, Shelley has held various roles as a Registered Nurse, transitioning from a clinic setting focusing on neurology and primary care to working in the hospital environment with oncology, palliative care, and currently OR Trauma. Additionally, Shelley serves as an Independent Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics, assisting clients with skincare regimens. Educational accomplishments include a BSN from Chamberlain University and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Madison Area Technical College.

FORCE Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of the millions of individuals and families facing hereditary breast, ovarian, pancreatic, prostate, colorectal and endometrial cancers. Our community includes people with a BRCA, ATM, PALB2, CHEK2, PTEN or other inherited gene mutation and those diagnosed with Lynch syndrome. We accomplish this through our education, support, advocacy and research efforts. We are dedicated to providing up-to-date, expert-reviewed information and resources that help people make informed medical decisions.
