Kaushik Shah

Kaushik Shah has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Kaushik is currently working as the Associate Vice President - R&D Electric Vehicle at Force Motors Ltd since April 2023. In this role, they are responsible for leading the research and development of various electric vehicle components and systems.

Prior to their current position, Kaushik worked as the Senior General Manager - R&D Electric Vehicle at Force Motors Ltd from August 2020 to March 2023. Kaushik played a crucial role in the overall development of electric vehicle division, leading various verticals including drive system, battery system, auxiliary system, application system, electronic system, wire harness system, and EV system integration.

Before joining Force Motors Ltd, Kaushik held multiple positions at KPIT. Kaushik served as the Director Delivery - electric Powertrain from October 2017 to August 2020, where they were responsible for delivery and practice management of EV components development. Kaushik also worked as the Business Head - ITS Public Transportation from October 2014 to October 2017, overseeing the intelligent transport system products for public transportation.

From October 2009 to October 2014, Kaushik worked as the Head Program Management - Hybrid Revolo Program at KPIT. Kaushik played a crucial role in the startup initiative of the Revolo program and managed customer relationships.

Prior to joining KPIT, Kaushik served as the Program Manager for Cummins Controls Group from June 2007 to October 2009. Their responsibilities included developing embedded solutions for diesel engine software for US customers.

Before that, Kaushik worked at iGATE as a Senior Software Specialist from December 2000 to June 2007. Kaushik was responsible for project management, requirement gathering, resource planning, and team management.

Kaushik also has experience working in international companies like Sony Electronics and Schindler Group. At Sony Electronics, they served as a Project Manager from January 2005 to June 2006, overseeing the development of GPS applications. At Schindler Group, they worked as an R&D Specialist Engineer from September 2002 to January 2004, focusing on elevator software maintenance and feature enhancement.

Their career started at Siemens Technology India, where they worked as a Senior Executive Engineer - Industrial Automation System from January 1999 to December 2000. Kaushik handled turnkey projects across various industries, focusing on process automation and drives.

Before joining Siemens, Kaushik worked at Active System Private Limited as a Design & Commissioning Engineer - Custom Solution from June 1995 to January 1999. Kaushik designed custom automation solutions and carried out commissioning at various customer sites.

Kaushik Shah has a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Shri Bhagubhai Mafatlala Polytechnic, Parle, which they obtained from 1988 to 1992. Following this, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Power System Engineering from Amravati University, completing it from 1992 to 1995. Later on, they pursued a Diploma in Business Management at IBS Hyderabad from 2009 to 2012. Lastly, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management at IBS Hyderabad from 2012 to 2013.
