Ghada Abdel Tawab

Ghada Abdel Tawab is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in international development and gender advocacy. Currently serving as a Global Senior Program Officer at the Ford Foundation since April 2013, Ghada previously held the position of Program Officer at the same organization. Prior to this, Ghada worked as a Senior Gender Advisor at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH from 2011 to 2013. Ghada's career at the Canadian International Development Agency spanned two decades, where roles included Gender Team Leader from 2001 to 2011 and National Program Coordinator from 1991 to 2000. Ghada holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Arts in Development Studies, both from The American University in Cairo.
