Kathy Reich currently serves as the Director of the BUILD initiative at the Ford Foundation, overseeing a $2 billion program aimed at strengthening institutions fighting inequality across the United States and globally. Prior experience includes leadership roles at the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, where responsibilities encompassed directing organizational effectiveness grantmaking, managing a diverse grant portfolio in conservation and organizational support, and advancing preschool access initiatives in California. Earlier roles include Policy Analyst for The Future of Children, Policy Director at the Social Policy Action Network, and Legislative Assistant to Senator Dianne Feinstein, focusing on welfare and children's issues.
