Luc Athayde-Rizzaro

Luc Athayde-Rizzaro currently serves as a Grantmaking Effectiveness Officer at the Ford Foundation since May 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Grant Making Support Officer and Project Head at Open Society Foundations, as well as Policy Counsel at the National Center for Transgender Equality. Luc has also held positions as a Senior Program Specialist at Open Society Foundations, Human Rights Specialist at the Organization of American States, and Legal Assistant at the Center for Justice and International Law. Luc holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Laws from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.
