Akshay Desai

Akshay Desai is an experienced Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on autonomy in the automotive industry. At Ford Motor Company, Akshay contributed to the development of key highway features for the L2/3 Autonomy stack and led collaboration between the Motion Planning and Simulation teams. Prior work at Magna International involved creating a Trajectory Planner in C++ and validating state machine transitions for autonomous driving systems. Akshay also completed significant projects in self-driving technologies through Udacity and contributed to autonomous vehicle software architecture at Clemson University's International Center for Automotive Research. Akshay holds a Master's degree in Automotive Engineering from Clemson University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy.
