Dylex Suan

Dylex Suan is currently serving as a Systems Software Intern at Ford Motor Company since September 2024. Prior to this role, Dylex worked at Northern Mechatronics Inc. as a Field Application Engineer, developing machine learning models and building machine learning pipelines for microcontrollers in early 2024 and mid-2023, respectively. Experience also includes software development roles at Waterloop and Peraso Inc., as well as a position as a Full Stack Developer at Prodigy Education and a software development role at the University of Waterloo. Notably, Dylex served as a Freelance Journalist for Coopérative radiophonique de Toronto and was elected as Burlington Student Trustee for the Halton Catholic District School Board, where advocacy efforts resulted in significant funding for menstrual products and a comprehensive transit survey for students. Dylex is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Honours Computer Science at the University of Waterloo, expected to graduate in 2025.
