Cynthia A. Gomez

Cynthia A. Gomez possesses extensive experience in academia and leadership within health research and equity. Currently serving as Faculty and Mentor at Fordham University's HIV/Drug Abuse Prevention Research Ethics Training Institute and as Chairwoman of the Board at dfusion Inc., Cynthia's roles reflect a commitment to advancing health disparities research. At San Francisco State University, Cynthia has held positions as Professor Emeritus and Director, focusing on interdisciplinary collaboration and mentoring in health equity. Additionally, Cynthia has contributed to several organizations, including the Society of Family Planning and the Guttmacher Institute, and has held key advisory roles for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. With a robust educational background including a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Boston University and an EdM from Harvard University, Cynthia A.
