Michael R. Trerotola

Chief of Staff at Fordham University

Mike joined Fordham in 2011 and currently serves as Chief of Staff to the President of Fordham University, Tania Tetlow. In this role, he serves as a key member of the President’s senior leadership team and supports the President on a wide range of strategic initiatives, policies, and programs for the university. Prior to this position, Mike served as the Assistant University Secretary and Special Assistant to Fordham’s then-President, Rev. Joseph M. McShane, S.J.

Mike spent four years in Development and University Relations at Fordham as an event planner in both Alumni Relations and Special Events. During his time in Development, Mike was a member of the Jesuit Advancement Administrators (JAA) Executive Committee. Before joining Fordham as an administrator, Mike began his career at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Mike earned his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, Administration, and Supervision from Fordham’s Graduate School of Education. His research focuses on diversity officers in Catholic higher education. Mike also holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Master of Business Administration from Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business. He is a member of the Alpha Sigma Nu and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies. He also served for eight years as the advisor to Fordham’s Alpha Sigma Nu chapter.
