David Cheng

David Cheng is an experienced attorney specializing in labor and employment law, currently serving as the Office Managing Partner and Labor and Employment Attorney at FordHarrison LLP since August 2013. Cheng represents a diverse clientele, including Asian companies and those in the transportation and logistics sectors, practicing both litigation and advisory roles. Prior to this, Cheng held the position of Senior Litigation Counsel at the Initiative Legal Group / Capstone Law APC, where the focus was on representing employees in California wage and hour class actions and leading the firm's class action team. Cheng began the legal career as an associate at the Renne Public Law Group, representing municipal governments and consumers in class actions. Cheng earned a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago.
