Syed Javed

Syed Javed has over two decades of experience in the financial sector. Syed has worked in a variety of roles, including director of operations, director of quality, and head of strategic business planning. In their most recent position as CEO of Foree, Syed has been responsible for leading the company to success.

Syed began their career in finance with American Express in the Middle East. Syed quickly rose through the ranks, becoming director of operations within a few years. In this role, Syed led a team that was responsible for quality control and improving operational efficiency. Syed then transferred to American Express in the United States, where they continued to work in operations.

In 2000, Syed left American Express to join United Bank Limited as head of business transformation. In this role, they were responsible for leading the bank's transition to a new business model. Syed also served as group head of branch operations and group executive HR.

In 2015, Syed left United Bank Limited to join Invency Private Limited as CEO. In this role, they were responsible for leading the company's growth strategy and expanding its product offerings.

In 2017, Syed left Invency to launch Foree, a financial technology startup. Under their leadership, Foree has become a leading provider of mobile banking solutions in Pakistan.

Syed Javed has a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Peshawar and a Bachelor's degree from Edwardes College Peshawar.
