Jill Cota

Nextgen Cohort Member at Foreign Policy for America

Jill Cota currently serves as a Policy Advisor and Administrator in the Office of Global Data Policy and Privacy at the International Trade Administration, contributing to the oversight of EU-U.S. relations since February 2023. In addition, Jill is a member of the NextGen Initiative at Foreign Policy for America, actively participating in both the Cyber and Tech Working Group and the Diplomacy and Human Rights Working Group. Previous experience includes roles at the Progressive Policy Institute as a Google Public Policy and Data Fellow, and at Adobe in Public Policy and Government Relations, where Jill conducted research and developed content focused on emerging tech issues. Additional internships with the Center for Strategic and International Studies, United States Senate, and U.S. Department of State provided further expertise in public policy and international relations. Jill holds a Master's degree in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Economics from Arizona State University.
