Morton P.

Morton P. currently serves as a Principal in Emerging Tech Policy at Google since December 2021, alongside roles such as Security Fellow at the Truman National Security Project and a member of the Leadership Circle at Foreign Policy for America, both starting in December 2022 and December 2023, respectively. Previously, Morton held various positions within the U.S. Department of State from 2014 to December 2021, including Foreign Service Officer and Coordinator for East Asia and Latin America Economic Sanctions Policy. Early career experience includes serving as an Associate Attorney at McDougal Love Eckis Boehmer & Foley and Lounsbery Ferguson Altona & Peak LLP, as well as Deputy City Attorney for the City of San Diego. Morton P. earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History/Black Studies, Cum Laude, from Claremont McKenna College.
