Afua Osei

Afua Osei is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic partnerships, entrepreneurship, and consulting. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Foreign Policy since March 2024, Osei previously co-founded and leads Afua Leads Africa as CEO, growing its reach to over 1 million millennial women across more than 100 countries. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Consultant at Albright Stonebridge Group and FT Strategies, as well as significant contributions at McKinsey & Company, where strategic recommendations were provided to diverse clients. Osei's early career involved roles with The Tony Elumelu Foundation and the City of Baltimore, emphasizing analytical and strategic abilities. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Master of Public Policy from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Black Studies from Allegheny College.
