Mohammed A. Salih

Mohammed A. Salih is a Senior Fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute, with extensive experience as a consultant in politics and media concerning Iraq, Iran, the Kurds, and the broader Middle East since January 2011. Mohammed has also worked as a freelance journalist since March 2005, covering Kurdish affairs and providing analysis on the region's political landscape. An academic background includes a Ph.D. in Communication and Media Studies from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania, an MA in Journalism from the Missouri School of Journalism, and a BA in English Language & Literature from the University of Salahaddin. Prior roles include serving as Chief Director at WIVA media, where media research and consultancy were conducted.
