Thomas Hejde

Thomas Hejde has over 30 years of work experience in various leadership roles in the facilities management and property management industries.

Thomas started their career at Fire Eater as the Development Manager and later became the Managing Director, overseeing the company's turnaround and development of new fire safety systems.

Thomas then joined IDEMIA as the Head of Logistics, responsible for managing a complex production process for credit and loyalty cards.

In 2004, Thomas joined CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) EMEA, where they served as the Head of Projects and later as the Nordic Projects Director. Thomas'sresponsibilities included building a competent advisory function and leading projects in cloud data centers and modern office environments.

Thomas joined Danske Bank in 2016 as the Global Head of Premises Portfolio & Strategic Projects. Thomas managed strategic building projects, implemented new FM contracts, and oversaw the design of bank branches and office spaces.

Prior to their current role, Thomas worked at Newsec as the CDO (Chief Digitalization Officer), where they centralized IT operations and laid the groundwork for digital transformation initiatives.

Thomas then joined CBRE as the Senior Director and Head of Property Management, responsible for overseeing property management operations.

Currently, Thomas works at Forenede Service Danmark as the Divisionsdirektør and COO for the Ejendomsdrift and Kantinedrift divisions, as well as handling internal business development.

Throughout their career, Thomas has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a wealth of experience in facilities management, property management, and business development.

Thomas Hejde completed their BA in Electronics Engineering at the Engineering College of Copenhagen from 1987 to 1990. Thomas also pursued studies in Sustainable Leadership with a focus on Real Estate at the University of Cambridge.
