Melissa O'Brien has over 14 years of work experience, starting with Wells Fargo in 2007. Melissa worked as a Phone Banker for seven months before moving on to CarMax, where they worked in Business Office for six years. Following this, they worked for Dominion Enterprises as a Forms Specialist for two years, where they were responsible for building and maintaining forms on the cloud-based system DX1 using Adobe tools to optimize workflow. After this, they worked for various companies in administrative roles, such as Pick-n-Pull, UHAUL Moving & Storage, Dealertrack Technologies/Drive Current, Zebra Restoration Services, Commercial Van Interiors of Northern California, and most recently, Rutan Environmental Safety, where they served as an Office Manager for two years. Finally, they currently hold the position of Project Coordinator/Admin at Forensic Analytical Consulting Services since June 2023.

Melissa O'Brien completed high school at Rio Linda High School from 2000 to 2004. Afterward, they attended MTI College, where they studied to become a Medical/Clinical Assistant. Melissa also obtained additional certifications including a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) in October 2022 and a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) from the California Department of Public Health.
