Harmen van Den Dorpel

Harmen van den Dorpel has extensive experience in the field of forensic psychology and child and youth care, currently serving as Rapporteur pro Justitia and GZ-psychologist at Forensisch Centrum Teylingereind since September 2010. The role involves conducting behavioral observations and diagnostic research, as well as developing and implementing therapy for youth to facilitate behavioral change. In parallel, Harmen serves as a Rapporteur pro Justitia at the Nederlands Instituut voor Forensische Psychiatrie en Psychologie, contributing to assessments of psychological disorders in suspects. Previous roles include Therapeutic Assistant at De Jutters and Pedagogical Worker at IPSE de Bruggen, focusing on supporting and guiding at-risk youth. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Forensische Orthopedagogiek from the University of Amsterdam and a degree in Health Care Psychology from RINO Groep, among other credentials.
