Alessandro Manzi

Alessandro Manzi has extensive work experience in research engineering and academia. Alessandro is currently working at Forescout Technologies Inc. since 2018, where they started as a Researcher and then progressed to the role of Research Engineering Manager. Alessandro is currently serving as the Head of Research Engineering. Prior to this, Alessandro worked at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna from 2007 to 2018, where they held various roles including PhD Researcher Assistant, PhD student, and Research Assistant. Alessandro'sresearch at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna focused on navigation and obstacle avoidance algorithms, and they worked on projects such as Dustbot, Hydronet, Spraybot, Astromobile, and Robot-Era.

Alessandro Manzi holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in BioRobotics from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, which they obtained from 2013 to 2017. Alessandro also has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Università di Pisa, which they completed from 2001 to 2007. Alessandro Manzi has an additional certification in Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) from Scrum.org, which was obtained in 2019.
