Galen Richards

Galen Richards is an experienced technology professional currently serving as the Head of Information Technology at Foresite Labs since September 2025. As a Co-founder and Lead Engineer at Arabella Productions, Galen has led a 20+ member engineering team in significant projects, including the construction of a heavily modified two-floor bus. Prior to these roles, Galen held various positions such as IT Director at Color and Systems Engineer at Airbnb, where skills from previous tenure at Evernote facilitated a swift adaptation to the IAM role. Galen's career began at Oracle as a Testing and Integration Intern, eventually progressing through various leadership positions in operations and system administration. Educationally, Galen holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Visual and Performing Arts from UC San Diego.
