Tim Aikin

Tim Aikin has extensive experience in the biotechnology and research sectors. As a Senior Associate at Foresite Labs from February 2022 to February 2024, Tim focused on New Ventures and previously served as an Associate in the same area. Tim's academic achievements include a PhD in Biochemistry, Cellular, and Molecular Biology from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, supplemented by a role as a Fellow from August 2016 to October 2022. Tim co-founded CordeRx, a biotechnology company that specializes in developing cellular immunotherapies from umbilical cord blood, which won the national Freedom from Cancer Startup Challenge in 2018. Earlier experience includes conducting research at the Neuroscience Research Institute at UCSB and leadership roles within the UCSB Triathlon Team. Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from UC Santa Barbara.
