Guillaume Gautreau has held a variety of positions in the software engineering industry. In 2005, they were an intern at Ecole Nationale des Sciences Géographiques and a summer camp assistant director at Aventure Scientifique. In 2007, they were a software engineer in training at Ecole des Ponts and a software development engineer at ENPC. From 2008 to 2018, they worked as a Lead Developer at ReportLinker.com and a Lead Developer at AFIDIUM. In 2020, they were a Senior Developer at Clovis and a Full Stack Engineer at Forest Admin. Guillaume is currently a President at Al Escalade.

Guillaume Gautreau received a Master of Science in Software Engineering from EPF Ecole d'Ingénieur-e-s between 2002 and 2007. Guillaume then attended Polytechnique Montréal in 2007 but did not receive a degree. In 2012, they obtained a Statement of Accomplishment from Coursera - provided by Stanford in Human Computer Interaction. Guillaume has also obtained several certifications and course certificates from Coursera, Duolingo, and other institutions since 2012.
