Emily Hanlon

Emily Hanlon is a dedicated and experienced special education professional currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Forest Hills Public Schools since July 2021. In this role, Emily assesses student needs, analyzes data to create individualized goals, and manages compliance with federal regulations, ensuring effective support for students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). With previous experience at Denver Public Schools, the Denver Academy of Torah, and San Francisco Unified School District, along with involvement in Teach For America and various educational roles, Emily has developed a strong foundation in special education. Emily holds a Master's degree in Special Education from Loyola Marymount University and a Bachelor's degree in English Creative Writing from Butler University.
