Angela Flores

Angela Flores is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in conservation and environmental education. Currently serving as a Biological Science Technician specializing in plants for the National Park Service since April 2022, Angela has also held roles such as Conservation & Experiential Programming Aide with the Forest Preserves of Cook County and Interpretive Park Ranger for the Bureau of Land Management. Previous positions include GIS Field Collector and various internships with the Student Conservation Association, where responsibilities encompassed data collection, visitor engagement, and habitat restoration. Angela holds a Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Public Health from DePaul University, complemented by a strong foundation in community greening practices and environmental education initiatives.
