Senior Social Scientist at Forest Research

Beth Brockett is currently working as a Senior Social Scientist at Forest Research since January 2023. Before that, Beth held positions such as Senior Specialist at Natural England, Outreach Assistant at Lancaster University, and Researcher at The University of Manchester. Beth has a strong background in environmental science and social science, with a PhD in Environmental Science and Social Science from Lancaster University. Beth has also completed an MSc in Forest Sciences from The University of British Columbia and a BSc in Environmental Science with a Year in North America from University of East Anglia. Additionally, Beth has experience in community development, public engagement, and research in areas such as soil carbon mapping and the water-energy resource nexus in China.
