Matthew Houser is a Senior Social Scientist at The Nature Conservancy and serves as an Assistant Research Professor at the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science. With a background in sociology, Matthew has held positions such as Assistant Research Scientist at the Environmental Resilience Institute, Indiana University Bloomington, where Matthew co-led the Hoosier Life Survey and partnered with city governments for policy implementation. Prior experience includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at Michigan State University, where Matthew designed and analyzed multi-state surveys of Midwest farmers.
