Forest Research
Bruce Nicoll is a Principal Scientist at Forest Research since July 2014. Bruce is also the Head of Climate Change Science and Programme Manager for assessing resilience and sustainability of woodlands and forests. Prior to this, Bruce worked as a Research Programme Manager for Climate Change Adaptation at the Forestry Commission. With a strong background in forest ecology and resource management, Bruce has led research programs focusing on forest resilience, climate change adaptation, and tree stability. Bruce holds a PhD in Forest ecology and resource management from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Honours in Biology/Biological Sciences from Edinburgh Napier University.
