Michael Kirkland

Michael Kirkland possesses extensive experience in the technology industry, currently serving as Group CEO of Mountain IoT since July 2017. Additionally, Michael has been the Managing Director of Forest Rock Systems Ltd since October 2010, where expertise in IoT software and hardware solutions is applied for building automation and energy management. Previous roles include Software Manager at Telent, Integration Project Manager at Schneider Electric, Technical Leader at EDS Group, and Software Engineer/Integration Specialist at Andover Controls. Michael holds a BSc in Computer Science with a focus on Software Engineering from the University of Birmingham, complemented by a foundational education at Loughborough Grammar School.
