Daniel Oparison

Daniel Oparison has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Daniel began their career in 2012 as a Non Executive Director at PeakThrust Insurance Brokers. In 2013, they joined Paga Group Ltd as the Head of Growth, Brand Strategy, Marketing & Customer Experience, where they oversaw consumer growth strategies, brand strategy and marketing campaigns, and managed the customer experience. Daniel also served as the President of Cooperative and later as the Head of Growth & Consumer Business at Paga.

In 2015, Oparison became an Investor & Advisor for Jara Mobile Limited, a consumer loyalty and lifestyle app. Daniel also invested in PhilandMove Limited, a moving and logistics company. In 2016, they took on the role of Vice Chairman of the Board at Beat Drone, a drone technology company, and directed its sustainable growth. Additionally, Oparison worked as an Executive Director at Dmastermind, a growth strategy design collective, since 2007.

In 2019, Oparison served as the Head of Strategy (Consultant) at Insight Publicis, where they led the strategy team in contributing to the corporate transformation of the marketing and advertising agency. Daniel was responsible for launching the digital marketing arm and revitalizing the work culture.

Oparison's more recent roles include being a Member of the Board of Advisors at GIVO Solutions, a circular economy company, since 2020, and a Non Executive Director at GAIA AFRICA, a women-only private members business club, since 2021. Additionally, they invested as an investor in Fitness Central (Nigeria), a health club chain.

Throughout their career, Oparison has demonstrated expertise in growth strategy, brand strategy, marketing, customer experience, and business development across various sectors.

Daniel Oparison's education history begins with their completion of the O Levels at International School Ibadan from 1995 to 2001. Daniel furthered their education at Staffordshire University, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia Graphics from 2003 to 2008. In 2010 to 2011, Daniel pursued a Master's Degree in Creative Advertising at Falmouth University.

To enhance their professional skills, Daniel also completed several additional certifications. In 2017, they obtained the Certified Digital Marketing Professional certification from the Digital Marketing Institute. In 2018, they completed the Customer Experience Design & Management program from the Whitten & Roy Partnership. In 2019, they obtained the Designing Strategy certification from IDEO U. Lastly, in 2020, Daniel attended the Executive Education program, "The Emerging COO: Driving Innovation and Operational Excellence" at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
