Daniel Godwin is an experienced wildfire management professional with a diverse background in fire management and strategic program development. Currently serving as the Wildfire Crisis Strategy Program Manager for the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests and Pawnee National Grassland, Daniel has also held roles as a Fire Management Planning Specialist and worked on a detail as Wildfire Crisis Strategy Program Manager. Daniel's previous experience includes positions as an On-Call Wildland Firefighter for the Larimer County Sheriff's Office, Director of Programs and Partnerships at The Ember Alliance, Assistant Director of Fire Management with the Forest Stewards Guild, and Wildland Fire Analyst at the Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands. Daniel holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biological Sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of Florida.
