Ian Collins

Ian Collins serves as the Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Privacy Officer, and Associate General Counsel at Foresters Financial, a position held since 2013. With extensive experience in compliance and legal services, Ian leads a team focused on North American market conduct and anti-money laundering compliance while providing legal support across various organizational functions. Previous roles at Foresters include Vice President of Compliance, Interim Chief Compliance Officer, and Senior Counsel, where Ian contributed to strategic business plans and facilitated corporate acquisitions. Prior to joining Foresters, Ian worked as an Investigator at the Office of the Ontario Ombudsman and as an Associate Lawyer at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP. Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Victoria.
