Veronika Mercks

Veronika Mercks is an experienced professional in learning design and educational innovation, currently serving as the Lead Learning Designer for Young Empowerment at Forever Day One since March 2021. With a diverse background, Veronika has held key roles such as Initiator at Navigaia Journeys and Program and Training Coordinator at the Helga Breuninger Foundation. Previously, Veronika contributed as a Learning Designer at Forever Day One, focusing on educational camps for students in Germany. Early career achievements include being a Teach First Deutschland Fellow and Chairperson for multiple initiatives. Veronika's educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Intercultural Communication from Anglia Ruskin University and further training in adventure-based education and design thinking.
