Jarrod Griffus

Jarrod Griffus is an Associate Scientist II at Forge Biologics, involved in downstream process development, specifically optimizing AAV purification through various techniques including chromatography and ultracentrifugation. Prior experience includes serving as a Student Research Assistant at Michigan State University, where research focused on structural characterization of proteins and laboratory maintenance. Additionally, Jarrod completed a marine conservation internship at the Archipelagos Institute, conducting statistical analysis on marine health. Early work experience includes a role as a crew member at Charleys Philly Steaks, where interpersonal and customer service skills were developed. Jarrod holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Michigan State University and a high school diploma from Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy.
