Philip Cherian MBA, PSPO, CPHIMS

Philip Cherian MBA, PSPO, CPHIMS has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Philip began their career in 2005 as a Software Engineer - Research & Development with ontoprise GmbH, where they worked on Project Halo, a research oriented project funded by Vulcan Ventures. In 2007, Philip co-founded Avagama, where they served as a Health Information Systems Consultant. In 2014, Philip moved to medavis GmbH, where they served as Regional Manager MEA & India and Regional Manager MEA. As of 2021, Philip is currently working as a Client Solutions Director at Forgeahead Solutions.

Philip Cherian has a comprehensive education history, beginning with a high school degree from St Thomas Residential School, which they obtained in 1999. Philip then went on to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in BTech Computer Science from the Christian College of Engineering and Technology between 1999 and 2003. After that, Philip Cherian obtained a Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Sussex between 2004 and 2005. Finally, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Marketing & Operations from the S P Jain School of Global Management between 2008 and 2011.

Additionally, Philip Cherian has obtained a number of certifications, including the Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) from HIMSS in November 2020, the Professional Scrum Product Owner™ I (PSPO I) from Scrum.org in September 2020, Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn in August 2020, HL7 FHIR Fundamentals from HL7 India in May 2020, Project Management: Healthcare Projects from LinkedIn in May 2020, Strategic Selling with Perspective from Miller Heiman Group in January 2020, Win-Win Negotiating from Frost & Sullivan in June 2015, and a number of John Hopkins University Coursera certifications in 2014.
