Bret Richmond

Bret Richmond has extensive work experience in the legal field. Bret is currently the Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Forgen. Prior to that, they were the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Weifield Group Contracting from 2018 to 2021. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Contract Attorney at SolarCity/Tesla. Bret also served as Senior Counsel at SolarCity from 2015 to 2016, where they were responsible for negotiating and drafting various contracts. Before that, they were an Associate General Counsel at Space Systems Loral from 2011 to 2015, where they handled executive counseling and managed the Contract Department. Bret started their legal career as a Counsel at Bechtel from 2005 to 2011, specializing in power project contracts.

Bret Richmond completed their education at the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law from 2002 to 2005, earning a Doctor of Law (JD) degree in the field of Law. Prior to that, they attended Saint Mary's College of California from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics and Business Administration. Bret also attended The Thacher School from 1988 to 1992.
